Minimum of 3 years experience and Associates degree is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and good understanding of controls, motors, servos and panel design.

Siemens Expert

Direct Hire Opportunity for a Controls Engineer with extensive Siemens experience. This is an immediate need. Any experience with Texas Instruments would be a bonus, but not necessary. Must have demonstrated knowledge, proficiency and expertise with Siemens products, including (S7).

Project/Maintenance Manager

This position manages all construction projects and the maintenance program. Candidates must be experienced with liquid processing filling and packaging manufacturing operations. The responsibilities include: managing new projects to ensure each is completed in a timely and cost effective manner, managing and documenting all project monies, overseeing all contractors & maintenance for efficiency and safety, coordinating the validation process with the QA Manager for each new piece of equipment, deriving input from the Leadership Team on each project, overseeing and giving direction for the Maintenance program. Duration: 6-8 months. This position will be located in Lima, Ohio.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Minimum Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering design, based on experience. 5-10 years of experience in Machine Design for consumer products, assembly and packaging integration systems. Electrical Instrumentation & Automation Controls Engineer

Industry: Consumer Product Beverage Manufacturing BSEE or BSET Degree Minimum Associates Degree in Electrical Engineer, based on experience. 5-10 years of Electrical Controls Instrumentation and Integration Systems experience. Willing to travel domestic & international Experience: Strong engineering and design knowledge and background with Allen-Bradley Control Logix, PLC, SLC-5 Product Knowledge, Controls Integration and Programming experience. Experience with engineering and design of automation systems of high speed filling, packaging, and packing manufacturing systems. Knowledgeable with programmable controllers, variable speed drives, control panels, ancillary equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Software: AutoCAD, M.S. Word, Excel, MS. Project, etc. Servo Motor VFD Technology and Vision Systems knowledge a plus, not mandatory. 480 VAC Power Experience & Codes, NEC, UL, JIC, CSA.

Microstation Drafter

Our client is a well-known name in the telecommunications industry. They are seeking a Drafter that is proficient in Microstation and AutoCAD. Electrical and/or Mechanical background is acceptable, any utilities, cabling, fiber optics experience is a plus. This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity.

Part Time Instrumentation Engineer

Client is looking for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to work about 20 hours/week for around 6 months. Responsibilities will include; specifying instruments, developing BOM for purchasing, onsite work and possible training with clients. Experience with pressure, temperature and airflow.

Controls & Automation Engineers

GPA is seeking experienced Controls Engineers to fill both contract and direct opportunities with our clients in the food/beverage and FDA industries. Contrologix, Siemens, Allen Bradley, FT or RS Batch programming experience and at least a year of I/Q and O/Q development and execution on these kinds of systems.

Method of Product/Process Development (MOPD)

GIS Technician

Creates documentation on the placement of electrical facilities utilizing Company's GIS application SmallWorld, and other tools (schematics, circuit maps, drawings, plans). Will need to interpret drawings and schematics, as they will interact with Customer Project Coordinators who are designing the jobs in the field, as well as inspectors. MS: Office 2000, Outlook, CAD, ArcView (or other GIS package). Technical degree preferred.

Sr. Relay Technician

Position is located in Charlotte, NC. The target task will be complex transmission related maintenance and installations associated with the following: Write and execute procedures to isolate and PM both Electro-mechanical and Micro-processor based. Utilize RTS software to PM relays. Write and execute procedures to isolate and perform complex removals and/or installations of Electro-mechanical and Micro-processor based relays. Test and commission these installations to prove out all functionality and including inputs and outputs, CT's and VT's, communications and SCADA devices. Work activities will be carried out in various locations around Service territory in North and South Carolina. Base locations for crews will be Greensboro, NC, Greenville, SC and Charlotte, NC.
